Hi, One of the new feature of Rsyslog v8.6 is the ability for imfile to monitor files using wildcards. The presentation http://www.slideshare.net/rainergerhards1/using-wildcards-with-rsyslogs-file-monitor-imfile is clear. However I have a question regarding the remote part. How can I differentiate the files in order not to mix records from different files ? Is there a way I can set the tag equal to the state-file (or send also the state-file) and then use it to write the record to the correct file ? Any other idea ?
