Hi, With Ubuntu's v15/Vivid release just around the corner, and its repos fully avaialble (in pre-release) today, I'm setting up machines with it.
Checking to see if the info @ http://www.rsyslog.com/ubuntu-repository/ is out of date, Currently supported Ubuntu Versions: Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) Ubuntu 14.10 (Utopic/daily builds only) Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise) apparently not, sudo add-apt-repository ppa:adiscon/v8-stable apt-get update ... Err http://ppa.launchpad.net vivid/main amd64 Packages 404 Not Found ... Are there any vivid-ready packages for rsyslog8 available? It'd be helpful to get these into testing asap b4 the vivid release.
