Hi Geeks, I am using rsyslog to send logs to remote server from a file. I am not using queues. Just *.* @@remote-server;template
For instance, imfile cursor reached at line 30 and all of sudden my destination server got unavailable. What will happen. I have read some where it drop the log after 3 retries and move on similarly. Is their any settings that imfile cursor stay at line 30 for infinite time or until remote server become available.
