Hi,
it has passed all tests on my build cluster for x64 and x86.
I already added rsyslog-8.21.0 and liblognorm-2.0.1 to Gentoo's repository.
Good work!
However due to Rainer's comment [1] I run the test suite as root. And
when running the test suite as root the "omfile-read-only.sh" test is
always failing for me:
> ------------------------------------------------------------
> Test: ./omfile-read-only.sh
> ------------------------------------------------------------
> ls: cannot access 'rsyslog.ou*': No such file or directory
> rsyslogd started with pid 99155
> injecting 20000 messages
> imdiag[13500]: 20000 messages injected
> imdiag[13500]: mainqueue empty
> ./diag.sh: line 354: rsyslog.out.log: No such file or directory
> head: cannot open 'work' for reading: No such file or directory
> info: first message expected to be number 0, using that value.
> cp: cannot stat 'rsyslog.out.log': No such file or directory
> ./diag.sh: line 359: rsyslog.out.log: No such file or directory
> work: No such file or directory
> error opening file 'work'
> sequence error detected
> FAIL omfile-read-only.sh (exit status: 1)
Also "privdropuser.sh" is failing with:
> 'id' did not find user "rsyslog" ... skipping, trying next user!
> 'id' did not find user "syslog" ... skipping, trying next user!
> Will use user "daemon" (#2) and group "daemon" (#2)

> PID TTY TIME CMD
> 109185 pts/3 00:00:00 rsyslogd
> ABORT! Timeout waiting on startup ('started' file)
> FAIL privdropuser.sh (exit status: 1)
Also "privdropuserid.sh" is failing with
> 'id' did not find user "rsyslog" ... skipping, trying next user!
> 'id' did not find user "syslog" ... skipping, trying next user!
> Will use user "daemon" (#2) and group "daemon" (#2)
> rsyslog.pid exists, trying to shut down rsyslogd process 109185.

...all the other tests passes when running as root:

I am not sure about
> PASS: imrelp-basic.sh
> libgcc_s.so.1 must be installed for pthread_cancel to work
> PASS: imrelp-manyconn.sh
...the test system is x64 and libgcc_s.so.1 is available:
> /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.4.0/libgcc_s.so
> /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.4.0/libgcc_s.so.1
> /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.4.0/32/libgcc_s.so
> /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.4.0/32/libgcc_s.so.1
It is imrelp-manyconn.sh which triggeibut was unable to trigger this
again (well, I don't really know if these tests triggered this before).
