Job Title: SAS Developer Gwynn Oak, MD Key responsibilities include: Advise and assist stakeholders in using data analytics tools, techniques for SAS modules installed on DAP. Work with business analysts, development leads, researchers and others to analyze business requirements and provide guidance on using SAS tools and SAS coding techniques including statistical methodologies, data manipulation and predictive modelling methodologies. Develop solutions including projects, proof of concepts or code snippets. Create functional design documents, requirements documents, user documentation, technical documentation, research papers. Respond to data requests that require data mining, extraction and query optimization services. Create data dissemination mechanisms/procedures that summarize data in an easy to understand display. Provide knowledge transfer to others. The selected candidate will, as part of a team, develop solutions including data development and predictive/descriptive statistical solutions; provide technical support to researchers in use of SAS products on the DAP platform; and provide guidance to researchers and developers in using SAS tools and methodologies. They will also provide guidance to users in use of SAS clients, including eGuide, and clients associated with the products installed on the DAP platform. Responsibilities include working with users to understand and define project security, data, and operational requirements. SAS Application Developers must be proactive self-starters, have excellent communication skills, and be effective technical writers.
