BIW Specialist Chattanooga TN Job Description * Design Engineer with over 8+ years of engineering experience in the field of BIW. * Design of parts, creates digitisation and archives in dedicated information system * Ensures technical convergence and defines connecting elements * Assists in implementing the FMEA and product/process for designing and considering their conclusion. * Ensures the product documentation and monitoring of parts of his scope by creating design files and manages digital mock-up. * Prepares requests for change files. * Executes and updates the product drawings and archives in dedicated information system * Validates the design product/process feasibility * Transposes the dedicated product/process constraints during the design reviews (geometry, process, packaging, etc.) * Contributes to the quality and cost objectives by Suggesting VAVE ideas that can improve the quality of the parts and reduce production cost * Assists in the knowledge building process to continuously improve the standards and design rules based on feedback from projects and/or mass production Primary Skills Mechanical Engineering BIW experience CATIA V5 Secondary Skills * Good oral and written English language skills. * Strong technical writing skills. * Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment. Any specific industry experience Automotive Domain Education Graduate/Bachelor In Engineering in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering.
