Power Electronics Engineer Southfield MI Job Description Power Electronics Systems Engineer for PM motors Expert on PM motor control to review control system design in the areas of Control Stability, Torque estimation and performance optimization of the associated algorithms. Task is to review motor control. Knowledge of NXP MC libraries and NXP MPC micros is advantageous. motor control Firmware(software) designer with Power electronics background Experience to design Torque control algorithms, Speed control algorithms, feedback systems for motor. Primary Skills * BSEE and 5+ years of automotive experience * Expert on PM motor control to review control system design in the areas of Control Stability, * Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Ability to react to project to adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently * Strong written and oral communication skills * Strong interpersonal, including customer interface, skills * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an occasionally high-pressure environment * Tier 1 supplier experience a plus * Fast-paced development environment * Some travel required Secondary Skills * Good oral and written English language skills. * Strong technical writing skills. * Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
