Job Title: Data Scientist Job Location: Peapack, NJ Long Term Contract Mandatory skills: . Masters in Engineering . Data analytics, Modelling, simulation, sys engg . R, Python, MATLAB/Simulink and toolbox ecosystem . Other modeling, statistical and numerical analysis tools . Experience using data analytics/machine learning techniques (e.g. regression, classification, clustering, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, deep learning, self-learning etc.) . Experience in areas such as Soft sensor modelling, Process control and monitoring, Predictive maintenance, Multivariate analysis, multi-sensor data fusion, fault detection and diagnosis . Mathematical and data based modeling and algorithm development Preferred Skills: . Multi-tasking / Oral/written communication skills . Thought leadership and self-motivated . PhD in engineering is preferred with previous industry experience . Past experience in any of the domains - Pharma, automotive, industrial, medical systems, building energy mgmt . Knowledge of ThingWorx Analytics will be an added advantage . Exposure to big-data platforms, IOT platforms, image analytics . Exposure to industrial tools such as Pharma MV, Aspen Plus etc. will be an added advantage Job Roles/Responsibilities: . Understanding the customer requirement, business application . Formulating the problem and working with the team to perform soft sensor modelling, data analytics, predictive maintenance etc. . Developing and documenting the analysis approach (including pre-processing/processing steps) as well as validation considerations, Designing the models, integrating models with applications, verification and validation of data analytic solutions . Extended role includes support for data generation, scoping of solutions for predictive analytics, requirements gathering for the same . Customer interactions and help drive proactive pitch, respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI and internal solution programs .
