*Location: Jacksonville, FL – Fairfax, VA – Allentown, PA – Ann Arbor, MI – Ashburn, VA – Atlanta, GA (Midtown or Dunwoody office) – Boston, MA – Charlotte, NC – Chicago, IL – Cincinnati, OH – Columbus, OH – Dearborn, MI – Framingham, MA – Houston, TX – Lafayette, LA – Livonia, MI – Milwaukee, WI – Minneapolis, MN – New York, NY – Plano, TX -- St. Louis, MO* *Duration:6+ Months* *Responsibilities:* - Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications. - Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development. - Develop full stack applications in languages such as Python, React, Angular, Java and Node.js. - Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level. *Qualifications:* - 5+ years of application development experience (Java & Angular background ideal) and a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total). - Important skills include: - Deep native Python development experience building enterprise solutions that are highly available and have high performance/low latency. - REST services development using Python. - 3 years’ experience with native Python development, not Django - 2-3 years of experience with API services development - The candidate should have strong understanding of development best practices in a structured agile SDLC - Experience with a modern UI framework such as React is highly desirable. - Experience developing secure solutions. PCI experience is a strong plus. - Working knowledge of Linux. - Experience developing solutions on cloud platforms is required and RedHat OpenShift experience is a very strong plus. - MongoDB and PostgreSQL experience are highly desirable. - Java development experience is a strong plus. - Very clear communication skills. Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence. - Self starter able to work independently with minimal direction. - Mastered at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas. - Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge. - Ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products. - Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem. - Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing. - Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements. - Owns and produces customer documentation. Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form. Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answer specific RFP questions). Ability to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals. - Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package. - Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery.
