Performs analysis and research of systems and networks. Reviews detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend technical solutions. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides second level engineering design functions. Develops complex solutions from business requirements and architectural specifications. Creates presentations and seeks IT management's approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major business systems serving a business unit or location. Directs the construction of architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Consults with application leaders to verify applications/technology conform to architecture standards. Sets vendor strategy and direction; oversees adherence. Designs and engineers comprehensive technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards; works with architecture to update technology direction and strategy. Researches relevant trends and activities in healthcare, business, competition and regulatory environments; recommends strategy adjustments. Serves as technical merger and acquisition lead as needed. Requires BA/BS degree; 8+ years experience in information systems, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management; significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Detailed knowledge of the enterprise architectural plans, information systems, and corporate business plans required; expert knowledge of and expertise in at least one core infrastructure technology required, as is a demonstrated ability to utilize this knowledge in strategic decisions; capable of creating advanced technology designs utilizing business and technical requirements. Strong leadership and mentoring skills required; demonstrated ability to create and present ideas to senior management. *Additional Job Description Details*: The Sr DevOps Engineer (Ansible Engineer) will be a technical expert for Ansible ecosystem & DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives. This team member will develop Ansible artifacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management roadmap of the organization *Responsibilities:* • Develop Ansible playbooks and modules for infrastructure deployments. • Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support. • Develop, configure and administer DevOps and IT automation solutions. • Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code • Design and implement secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments • Build and deploy automation, monitoring, and analysis solutions • Manage our continuous integration and delivery pipeline to maximize efficiency • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement • Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage *Skills:*• At least 3 years production experience in a process-oriented, versioned, and automated DevOps environment • Experience with Configuration Management, Agile Scrum, and CI/CD • Comfortable following versioning and release strategies with git/GitHub. • Strong experience with Ansible • Experience in Python, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Bash • Experience with Firewalls, Hypervisors and Routers • Expert level RHEL 7, RHEL 8, Windows 2016 and Windows 2019 System Administration • Expert level understanding and implementation of RESTful, SOAP and SDK APIs • Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment. • Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment Thanks...
