We have an immediate opportunity for STB Tester - QA at Irving, TX. Title: STB Tester - QA Location: Irving, TX Key Responsibilities/ Key Requirements and Technology Experience: * At least 4 years of experience in manual testing - strategy, design, execution analysis and reporting of Set Top Box. * Experience in preparing Test Cases, Test Reports, Test plans, Test closure reports. * Knowledge of back end services for a Set Top Box. * Knowledge of Video delivery in Cable industry. * Knowledge of the features like VOD, DVR or Pay per View. * Experience in Log analysis and Splunk is a plus. * Basic understanding about micro services and REST APIs is a plus. * Experience in ticketing systems (like Jira) and triaging tickets/ issues. * Experience in feature/performance issues and resolution with development teams. * Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment. * Strong co-ordination communication and analytical skills. * Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment with offshore coordination * Knowledge of Programing language for Test Automation (preferably Python). * Experience in working with Backend database like MS SQL, Oracle.
