We have urgent requirement with one of our client's, please review below job description and let me know your interest Title: Data Visualization Lead Architect / developer Location: North Chicago, IL Duration: 6 -12 Months+ Locals Only (Phone and In Person) Description: Visualization Lead Architect / developer required for working with our cross-functional teams, architecting, modeling, and designing Qlik / Spotfire dashboards and reporting solutions across multiple business functions. Requirements: Core expertise to include more than 8+ years of overall IT experience in more than one of the technologies and processes: . Work with a cross-functional team of developers and business analysts to deliver on data analytics initiatives . Define, develop, and implement QlikView/ QlikSense / Spotfire dashboards and reports . Create and review technical designs that align with our business segments . Work on developing Qlik/Spotfire Dashboards on different data sources like Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop HIVE and other technology stack, Text files and Excel documents . Understand Qlik's in-memory data discovery architecture and ensure adherence to Qlik's best-practices and standards . Developed advanced scripting, aggregation functions, advanced charts, extensions, N-Printing. MashUp, Widgets etc. . Develop a solution/framework for provisioning data for consumption by business users who create Qlik/ Spotfire applications. . Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and one or more other programming languages. . Good understanding of Infrastructure and application performance tuning of Qlik / Spotfire apps for faster loads and efficient response times. . Manage technical scope and client expectation, onsite and offshore coordination . Develop, maintain and continually enhance a strategy around QlikView Data (QVD) files . Advanced scripting and ETL, data modeling (star schema), Working with large data sets . Experience with multiple database platforms (RDBMS, NoSQL, HIVE( Hadoop), SAP etc) . Leading small group of Offshore developers on a multiple parallel projects. . Able to design distributed applications . Experience with creation of extensions for data write back for commentary, data manipulation etc. from dashboard. . Experiences in creation of visually appealing dashboards using Story Telling, Pivot Table, KPI Object, advanced Visualization (D3 Objects) and other extensions etc. Qualifications: . 6+ years of overall IT experience . Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Unit Testing cycle (SUT) which includes effort estimation, Requirement gathering & Analysis, Design, Code construction, Implementation, Software Release/Deployment and Hypercare Support. . An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile/SCRUM tools. . A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
