*Long term contract* *Rate: $48/Hr on C2C* *Genuine Candidates only* *Only US Citizens* *Mandatory Skills: Java, React, Redux, Spring Boot and node JS* This program represents a multi-year effort for IT Modernization and Transformation that will better enable citizens and first responders to apply for and be awarded Federal disaster and non-disaster grants. This position requires US citizenship, and all employees must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust. Successful candidates are modern development specialists experienced in translating business requirements into software architecture. In addition to strong software development skills, ideal candidates have demonstrated experience in working on an Agile Scrum team. Primary location is Herndon, VA and will require occasional travel to DC and Winchester for customer meetings. Responsibilities This role is responsible for analysis, design, develop and testing of the enterprise-wide web application using Java-based technologies. Key tasks includes: ● Support full system development life cycle using Java technology ● Understand and use coding standards ● Understand business requirements and recommend sound solutions ● Communicate with product owners to discuss problems and resolution ● Work independently and create/update technical documentations ● Learn and adopt new technologies quickly as required by the project Required Skills: ● Strong programming skills with Java (8 and newer), J2EE, React, Redux, Spring, Spring Security, JQuery and Bootstrap ● Extensive working experience of developing RESTFul WebServices using the Open source frameworks, i.e., Node.js, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) ● Extensive working experience in WebSocket technologies, JavaScript, Maven development tool, Jenkins and Ansible, JBoss application server and Tomcat ● Extensive working experience in XML and JSON technologies ● Working experience in using JMS and messaging tools/software ● Working experience in testing frameworks Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit/TestNG ● Extensive working experience in writing queries with relational databases such as Oracle, data modeling, MySQL (or similar) ● Experience in designing solutions for complex projects ● Strong skills in writing SQL, procedures and functions and troubleshooting ● Working experience in Agile methodologies ● Experience in designing solutions for complex projects Desired Skills: ● Experience operating in traditional and Agile project models ● Demonstrated experience in using AWS or other Cloud technologies -- Thanks...
