Description Details 
Primary Function: 
Develop, execute and manage large, more complex project(s) within the
defined scope. Manage a variety of interrelated project activities and lead
all aspects of the project life-cycle, working with project sponsors/key
stakeholders, team members, and management to oversee all phases of project
completion. Build and manage project's work breakdown structure, milestones,
risks, issues, and deliverables within the constraints of human and
financial resources and changing priorities to ensure the successful
completion of the project. Ensure transparent reporting of project status,
issues, risks, and financials. 

Key Responsibilities: 
. Initiate and Plan Project: Works with business and IT management to
establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and
deliverables. Responsible for building the project plan, schedule and
resource needs to accomplish the scope. 
. Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and
risks will affect the project working with business and IT management and
sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the
project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. 
. Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining
authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in
delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project
approval from sponsor and stakeholders. 
. Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project
communications and reports to provide timely and accurate program status and
decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management.
Makes recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and
manage risks. 
. Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs
are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members
based upon their abilities. Motivates project team in order to deliver
project outcomes. 
. Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate
and functional policies and procedures. 
. Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities. Influences
or has final decision authority for project budget. 
. Financial Control: Develops and manages a large financial plan with
multi-million dollar spend over multiple years. Tracks actual spend,
accruals, proactively creates spend estimates on a regular basis (at least
monthly) and coordinates estimates and invoices with project vendors, in
order to maintain spend at +/- 10% of the overall project budget. 

Qualifications: 
. Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems/Computer Science or
related discipline. 
. At least 7-10 years of proven experience with driving projects through
various phases of a system development lifecycle (SDLC), using Waterfall and
Agile Methodologies as appropriate 
. At Least 5 years of experience managing significant IT projects in a
Pharma environment 
. Must have managed Project budgets in excess of $1MM 
. PPM Tool experience including, but not limited to, Broadcom Clarity v15,
Microsoft Project Professional 2013, and Microsoft Project Server 
. Must have demonstrable Executive Presence 
. Must have a strong understanding of forecasting and monthly LBE management
and presenting to senior leadership 
. Experience managing ITIL Demand/Release/Change using Service Now as the
requisite Service Management tool 
. Proven Microsoft Office skills are required. 
. Individual must be able to work full time on-site (North Chicago). 



Preferred Qualifications: 
. PMP Certification (not required but preferred)

Project Manager Mainstream III (DII2) - Strategy and Continuous Improvement 

Primary Needs: 
. Position will reside within the BTS Strategy & Continuous Improvement Team
at AbbVie. 
. Project manager needed within our AbbVie-Allergan Integration Program to
provide both project management and leadership to an initial phase of
integrating Legacy Allergan's Arlo software instance into AbbVie's
environment. 
o Arlo is a cloud-based training management system which will provide AbbVie
a Registration Platform for employees to seamlessly register for O365
training, as well as other AbbVie training offerings, all in a standard
format. 
o Arlo has a robust enrollment reporting functionality and has integration
with many different survey platforms. It offers a full suite of options for
the Administrator to easily register thousands of individuals and provides a
calendaring option with auto-reminders. 
o The tool significantly lessens the number of manual processes, and it
reduces the need for multiple Administrators. 
o This initial Phase 1 project intends to roll out the tool BTS-wide, as
well as support BAU. This same Project Manager role will have a latter Phase
2 opportunity to lead the project of expanding the offering to our full
Enterprise. 
. Expectations are that this candidate will perform a standard Project
Manager role, including (but not limited to): 
o Providing weekly status reports 
o Management of project financials 
o Setting up meetings and preparing agendas in advance 
o Take meeting notes & provide meeting minutes post-meeting 
o Task tracking & reporting 
o All documentation to be kept and saved in a project SharePoint/Teams site 
. Candidate should be an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 7
years of experience in leading projects, preferably dealing with either
application rollout/integration and/or training software implementations. (7
years is required, the specific project experiences are preferred.) 
. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal, collaboration and
communication skills, given the potential for senior executive interactions
and business strategic impact of the projects, as well as varying degrees of
change management impact and project complexities. 
. Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to
lead and drive project success. 
. Must be a self-starter with attention to detail, highly organized
individual, possessing a solid work ethic. 
. Will work with a matrixed AbbVie team and an estimated 2 vendors as
project(s) dictate. 
. This individual will be expected to drive projects forward while focusing
on budgetary requirements.

2021, with strong potential for extension following proven performance.

Description:

The Integration Support lead is accountable to improve the business/end user
experience with a forward-looking mindset and spirit of continuous
improvement. This includes: 
. Delivering business value by ensuring technical user experience is optimal
in light of numerous integration initiatives 
. Leading the team and enabling resolution of complex issues through Managed
Service Providers and delivery teams to ensure quality outcomes 
. Proactively monitoring and trending user reported issues problems 

Responsibilities : 
. Serves as primary AbbVie contact point and first level of escalation for
Incidents and Problems., including activities that require multiple teams to
solution. Assists, when needed, with the prioritization and escalation of
system recovery issues with Cross-functional, Build and Infrastructure
teams. Represents operations IT issues with technical teams and ensures the
problem, impact and current state are appropriately represented for
prioritization with the correct teams. 
. Reviews ticket patterns and identifies opportunities. Performs summary
daily reviews of prior days ticket activity: queue levels, processing
efficiency, backlogs, aging levels along with prior day Incidents and
adjusts priorities as needed to ensure that ticket processing and the
Problem Management engines are performing within expected operational
parameters. 
. Accountable for ensuring that the issues reported by users are documented
and addressed in a timely manner. 
. Able to technically understand issues impacting application access,
network performance, active directory, etc. 
. Manages multiple hypercare calls with global IT leads to provide updates
on issues. Meets as needed with technical teams for resolution and publishes
minutes on calls to ensure assignment and understanding of time-bound action
items
