Client Information Research is seeking an established Solutions Architect to 
develop and integrate applications to support the high-performing, large scale 
technology capabilities of the Client R&D Convergence Hub (ARCH). Under the 
direction of the Convergence Platform Program Lead, and delivering on the 
vision of executive leadership, this person will conceive, design, engineer, 
and implement data and software solutions that solve significant scientific or 
business problems. 
 They will lead technical engagement with various partners and technical 
specialists across functional disciplines to ensure the success of the ARCH. 
This requires a strong background and understanding of the software lifecycle 
models to think structurally about business, product, and technical challenges 
while overseeing and providing guidance to implementation teams. It also needs 
hands-on technical design experience, architecture skills, technical expertise, 
and excellent communication skills. 
 This is an opportunity to join the team building an integrated R&D data and 
analytics platform, powering data-driven insights that ultimately lead to 
better, faster decisions and therapies for patients. You will help enable and 
grow our culture of data driven insights and decision making, improving R&D

Job Responsibilities 

·        Conceive, design, engineer, and implement software solutions by 
studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data 
usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; Demonstrate the ability 
to resolve key project hurdles and assumptions by effectively utilizing 
available information and technical expertise. 

·        Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management 
and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of application 
programming and processes for diverse development platforms, computing 
environments (e.g. host based, distributed systems, client server, software, 
hardware, technologies and tools, etc.).

·        Demonstrate knowledge of the pharmaceutical business, and utilize this 
knowledge in the rapid advancement of agile, impactful, and cost-effective 
solutions 

·        Highly autonomous and productive in performing activities, requiring 
only minimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. 

·        Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most 
efficient and cost-effective application programming solution. May code new or 
modified programs, reuse existing code through the use of program development 
software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions. 

·        Matures and leverages relationships with affiliates, subsidiaries, 
vendors, and industry peers in accordance with Client Values, Vendor Management 
Office, and Purchasing to further the mission, vision and goals of the 
organization. 

·        May mentor/supervise a team of one or more and guide and evaluate the 
performance of those individuals; is accountable for the effective performance 
of the team/individuals. 

·        Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable 
Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP

Qualifications 

Education 

·        Bachelor’s Degree 7 years of experience, Master’s Degree 6 years of 
experience, PhD 2 years of experience in application program development. Work 
experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred. 

·        Requires in‐depth knowledge of the systems development life cycle, 
client area’s functions and systems, and systems application program 
development technological alternatives. 

·        Proven implementation of creative technology solutions that advanced 
the business. 

·        Excellent written and oral English communication skills.  

 

Preferred Qualifications 

·        Understanding of software development practices and technologies 

·        Familiarity with a variety of programming languages and concepts such 
as Java, Python, REST APIs 

·        Data technology competencies in concepts like SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL, 
Apache Spark, Cypher/Neo4j 

·        Amazon Web Services (AWS) familiarity with data pipelines, 
micro-services, event-driven processing preferred 

·        Hands-on CI/CD and containerization knowledge and experience, Jenkins 
preferred 

·        Statistics and data science familiarity 

·        Technical background in healthcare, laboratory diagnostics, medical 
devices or pharmaceutical companies.

Title: Contact Center QA Analyst

Description:

Contact Center Customer Experience QA: 
Years of Experience: 3 or more years of experience as testing consultant with 
emphasis on IVR, telecommunications and contact center testing. Experience 
leading projects to completion. Candidate MUST possess excellent communication 
skills and be a self-starter. 
The Contact Center QA Analyst will align with the process & frameworks and 
leverage templates & tools to perform all aspects of the Software Testing Life 
Cycle, including analyzing requirements, creating test cases, conditions and 
scripts, creating and managing test data, test execution and defect management 
processes. The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring on time and on budget 
completion of all scheduled tasks and that all test artifacts meet strenuous 
standards. Daily tasks for the 

QA Analyst may include: 
• Communicate and interact with the business planning and development teams 
during the requirements development process 
• Create scenarios to meet the validation of acceptance criteria of customer 
requirements. 
• Performing all system test related activities in support of the business 
requirements for the provision of new and updated systems. 
• Performing smoke, functional, end to end and integration testing 
• Attend meetings comprising business and/or technical representatives to cover 
test-dependent activities such as requirement verification and prioritization, 
test scenario identification and general test schedule matters. 
• Ensure that test scenarios and scripts are prepared utilizing standard 
templates and adheres to quality standards and guidelines 
• Ensure complete scope of test coverage 
• Create, execute and ensure test results are accurate for assigned work

Title: Telecom Expense Management Project Manager

Primary Needs: 
• Position will reside within the Innovation, Architecture, and Infrastructure 
team at Client. 
• We require a Project Manager to lead 2 Client-Allergan Integration projects 
in succession: 
o Implementation of our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Service (in 
partnership with Asignet), for Legacy Allergan locations/countries outside of 
the United States (aka “OUS”), for all Corporate-owned mobile devices. 
o Once above TEM implementation has been completed for these Legacy Allergan 
OUS locations/countries, lead cleanup activities on our Corporate MobileIron 
instance to remove any personal devices from Client's MobileIron instance. 
• Project work will be run on a global basis, covering Legacy Allergan non-US 
locations, consisting of roughly 75 countries. 
• Working with a matrixed Client and Legacy Allergan team that will be located 
in various onsite and remote locations, as well as vendors which will include 
both Mobility Carriers, and Asignet (Client's TEM Service provider), PM will 
lead integration of an estimated 8,000-10,000 mobile devices. 
• Experience leading Mobility projects is preferred. 
• Experience with a Telecom Expense Management Application is also preferred. 
• Experience managing a project on a global scale to coordinate activities 
across multiple time zones is a must. 
• Candidate should possess international/cultural awareness and sensitivity. 
• With a tight timeframe to meet, this PM must be self-motivated and driven to 
gather any necessary relevant project information and keep the project 
resources on task. 
• Strong project management skillset needed, including proven ability to lead 
and drive project success. 
• Should be well organized with the ability to review and track the project 
schedule end to end. 
• Must be a self-starter, able to manage a variety of tasks, and be able to 
communicate to leadership. 
• Will conduct meetings with project team members and key stakeholders, 
publishing meeting minutes. 
• Will manage weekly and monthly progress reporting, as well as tracking 
project financials for budget adherence. 
• Experience managing project financials is a must for this role. Please do not 
submit candidates without prior experience in managing project financials. 
• Strong collaboration and communication skills required given the various 
degrees of complexity and change involved. 
• Candidate should be an experienced (12+ years required based on this grade) 
Project Manager in the IT/Infrastructure space. 
• Contract to run from candidate’s start date through February 18, 2022, with 
potential for extension following proven performance. Current thoughts are that 
once these 2 projects are implemented successfully, there is a strong potential 
for additional mobility project work related to both integration and continued 
expansion of services to additional non-US Client locations. 
• Important to note: while the position may initially begin remote, 
expectations are that it will move to a fully onsite engagement in Lake County, 
IL (Client J41 building in Waukegan) very shortly after start date. Do not 
submit candidates who desire to work remote on a permanent basis. This is 
non-negotiable as Client is actively transitioning back to an on-site workplace 
within this team. 
• Will execute and deliver in line with below expectations.

and gain consensus on project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. 
• Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and 
risks will affect the project, working with business and IT management and 
sponsor to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the 
project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget. 
• Executing and Closing Project: Develops and executes a work plan obtaining 
authorized resources to ensure all activities are performed. Leads team in 
delivering project scope. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project 
approval from sponsor and stakeholders. 
• Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project 
reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support 
information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes 
recommendations based on current project status to resolve issues and manage 
risks. 
• Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs 
are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members 
based upon their abilities. Motivates project team to deliver project outcomes. 
• Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and 
functional policies and procedures. 
• Decisions: Make decisions that impact project level activities. 
• Drive Continuous Improvement of Project Process and Governance: Will 
continually examine Plans/Risks/Issues to identify gaps in project 
communication or process, and holding project team accountable for improvement, 
to drive proactive solutions as the project is ongoing. Escalate issues that 
need Permanent Process changes.
