One was overqualified based on being in management. . A few lacked skills in these areas - Nutanix Hardware Experience, NetBackup Experience. . Based on Resume, one showed sporadic employment for short timeframes. Suppliers- The manager has interviewed over 7 candidates and only 10% of them were able to answer very basic questions regarding the technology requirement. The candidates recently submitted lacked skills and they were unable to speak on the experience listed on the resume. For example, Nutanix Hardware Experience How it functions and how to use Nutanix is one of the interview questions and 95% of the candidates failed to answer this appropriately. Also, most candidates submitted have experience with monitoring VM Ware but no hands on back end experience, knowing how to actually build/ set it up. This is critical in what the manager is looking for. Nutanix is highly preferred but the resource can be trained on this technology. However, VM WARE and net backup experience are critical skills needed.
