Position – Scrum Master
Location – Newark, NJ
| Job Description • Act as servant leaders to the team in ensuring that the highest priority needs of the team are met, impediments are removed, and the team can operate in a high-performing environment. • Drive the agile process in the team by leading ceremonies and help to educate the team on scrum ways of working. • Create and maintain an environment that enables the delivery team to be successful in realizing committed epics • Remove impediments for the team by helping to communicate, coordinate and cooperate with other teams or members of the business to resolve critical issues. • Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions that will impede delivery on agreed stories • Enabling the team to self-organize and self-manage in order to collectively agree how the work will be delivered. • Lead teams through retrospectives which drive meaningful discussion in order to help the team continuously improve. • Assist with reporting, metrics, tooling and automation Skills You Will Need: • 2-4 years of experience acting as a Scrum Master • Tableau, Jira, Excel, Confluence and Jira Align experience • Strong understanding of software engineering and development, database management or infrastructure engineering. • Deep understanding of scaled Agile principles. • SAFe Agile or CSM Certification required • Investment management and/or financial services experience. |
