*Duration: Long Term* *Responsibilities: * - Ability to lead a small team (globally distributed) of 4-6 individuals and help drive sound DevOps, process and quality practices - Ability to comprehend business requirements and be able to map them to operational requirements. - Strong emphasis on automation - Perform research, analysis, design, and implementation and provide effective solutions for short-term and long-term needs - Mentor other team members and developers. - Work in a team environment and share knowledge. - Evaluate new technologies, tools, and services to determine the feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities into the service portfolio *Minimum Qualifications * - Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, with strong fundamentals and problem-solving skills. - 5+ years’ experience in a production operations role - Working knowledge of Puppet or Chef and common scripting languages - Experience in a continuous integration process, employing a CI server, automated unit testing, and deployment - Strong experience with both Git and Subversion - Working knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and TestNG. - Understanding of Cloud Architecture - AWS is a plus Preferred Qualifications - Strong leader capable of motivating and energizing the DevOps engineers, as well as gaining their respect. - Experience with Content Management Systems desirable. - Experience working with Ant, Maven, and/or Ivy - Experience with Jenkins Thanks Ramesh -- You received this message because you are subscribed to "rtc-linux".
