*Position : ServiceNow Implementation Project Manager*
*Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite*
*Job Summary:*
The ServiceNow Implementation Project Manager will be responsible for
overseeing the entire ServiceNow implementation project for the City of
Atlanta's AIM department. This role requires strong project management
skills, ServiceNow platform knowledge, and the ability to manage
stakeholder expectations effectively.
*Key Responsibilities:*

Develop and maintain the project plan, timeline, and budget for the
ServiceNow implementation
-
Coordinate activities across all project phases, from discovery to
post-go-live support
-
Manage project resources, including the Canopy One team and AIM
department stakeholders
-
Facilitate communication between technical team members and business
stakeholders
-
Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation
strategies as needed
-
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to key
stakeholders
-
Manage scope changes and ensure proper change control procedures are
followed
-
Oversee the development of project documentation, including
requirements, design documents, and training materials
-
Coordinate testing activities, including user acceptance testing
-
Manage the go-live process and post-implementation support
-
Ensure the project adheres to Canopy One's quality standards and
methodologies
*Required Qualifications:*
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or
related field
-
7+ years of experience in IT project management
-
3+ years of experience managing ServiceNow implementation projects
-
*PMP (Project Management Professional) certification*
-
*ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Project Portfolio
Management*
-
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management concepts
-
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
-
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira)
-
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
*Preferred Qualifications:*
-
MBA or Master's degree in a related field
-
ITIL v4 Foundation certification
-
Experience with public sector or government IT projects
-
Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies
-
Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules beyond core ITSM
