I lived in N. B'ham (12th Ave.) for ~6 months when I started tech school in 1975. Somebody busted-out the passenger side window in my ‘65 Sports Fury and stole my 8-track player and CB radio. Other than that I didn't have any problems, except for the million roaches in the duplex. I moved to Hoover shortly after my car was broken into and life was good.
