There are exceptions to most rules and cow college is one of them. I don't hate much in life, but cow college and anything to do with them is THE exception, for the same reasons as Slef stated. I could add a few more, like booing when THE GREAT ONE's U.S. Postage stamp was unveiled at Legion field......on and on.
