Welcome to campus! Homecoming 2003 will begin on Sunday, Oct. 5, and conclude with the Alabama-Southern Mississippi matchup on Saturday, Oct. 11.
Sunday, October 5
* 15th Annual Roll Tide Run — 2:00 p.m., Capstone Drive on UA Campus; registration and check-in at rear of Gorgas Library, contact Homecoming Office at (205) 348-6121 for more information or an application
Monday, October 6
* Paint the Town Red — paint pick-up at Ferguson Center from 1:00-400 p.m.
* Comedy Show with Kivi Rodgers and Don D.C. Curry — 8:00 p.m., Bama Theatre
Tuesday, October 7
* Homecoming Queen Elections — 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
* Basketball Tournament — 7:00 p.m., Student Recreation Center
* Capstone Idol Finalé — 7:30 p.m., Ferguson Center PlazaWednesday, October 8
* Homecoming Queen Run-off (if necessary)
* Bowl for Bama — 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m., Bama BowlThursday, October 9
* Residence Hall Decoration Judging — 4:00 p.m.
* Banner Contest Judging — 5:00 p.m., Tutwiler Residence Hall
* Choreography Competition — 7:00 p.m., Riverside AmphitheaterFriday, October 10
* Lawn Decorations and Paint the Town Red Judging — 1:00 p.m.
* Quad Games — 1:00-4:00 p.m., Quad
* Road and River Relay — 2:00 p.m., Denny Chimes
* Alabama Cavaliers — 6:00 p.m., Under the Big Top
* Pep Rally/Bonfire — 7:00 p.m., Quad; Homecoming Queen will be announced
* National Pan-Hellenic Council Step Show — 7:00 p.m., Bama Theatre
* University Programs Homecoming Concert: Gin Blossoms and India.Arie — immediately following the bonfire on the Quad; free admission
Saturday, October 11
* Homecoming Parade Line-up — 7:00 a.m., Downtown Tuscaloosa
* Homecoming Parade Begins — 9:00 a.m., Downtown Tuscaloosa to UA Campus
* Homecoming on the Quad — 9:30 a.m.; lunch, fun and entertainment on the Quad, schools and colleges will have tent displays
* Alabama vs. Southern Mississippi — 2:00 p.m., Bryant-Denny Stadium
