Since I moved from Alabama, the state where I was born and raised, I
really depend on "roll tide fan" to help me keep up with BAMA's going
ons. But I just do not understand you guys. I sure thought that I
read how everyone knew this was going to be a difficult year but that we
would all stand behind our team. Here is a coach that came in to a
really bad situation without the time to really put together the
coaching staff that he would have wanted to and had to get who he could
so late in the season or who did not have the whole season to get the
team ready as all the other teams. Then there is the cut in
scholarships and not having the depth that the other schools have. I
really feel sorry for these guys and what they've been through. A few
years from now, when most people here will have forgotten about this
season, how will these players feel? I do not believe that making Coach
Shula the Alabama coach was a mistake. I believe that he will get us
there. How many coaches in this situation could have had a better
season, not many if any. I just hope that for these football players,
that they at least go out with a Auburn win so they can have something
to feel good about. This season makes me feel sick too but I refuse to
talk about the team the way you guys are. I will be there to defend
them to anyone here in Florida that dare to put them down. I sure did
not think that I would have to defend them to this group especially
since you guys knew this was going to be a rough year. I will forever
bleed crimson.
