I wasn't aware we were talking about basketball. 
Sure, someone would have to decide what teams got into
a playoff, but let the coaches do it, they know more
about it than the computers or sportswriting hacks.  I
just don't get how anyone could oppose a playoff, like
you said someone will get screwed this year but that
would be less likely if the coaches chose.
