Actually, I wasn't talking about him getting into patterns that will hurt him, but he could get lost in the middle of the defense as AC would do back in his hay-day. I think Brooks, with his quickness, could find open spots with a curl pattern or even with a quick out pattern. The post & fly may not be an option because if it comes down to him or the defender he will be in a mismatch due to his height. We might even be able to use him on end-arounds to confuse the defense. The possibilities seem to out weigh the negatives on this guy IMHO. I think Brooks will have a good chance to shine if our QBs can get the dang ball to him!

Joe, What the hell is a Danny Weurfel? Do they make them at Waffle House? :) Seriously, I don't remember the person you're talking about. I'm not sure you realize the extent of Brooks vertical challenge. That boy ain't but 5'4". The last time I went to a practice I remember seeing Brooks and thinking he was someone's little brother. He is so small he literally looks like a child among men. He's so short, he makes Mike Laborde look like Yao Ming: http://tinyurl.com/yamm ! Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the boy! I just don't believe for one minute that he'll be a legitimate threat as a receiver. Here's hoping I wrong! Roll Tide!!
