No paricular preference for a particular code point other than the fact it has 
to be deterministic. We just chose the next available code point in the space 
reserved for AuthType.

It's also worth noting that as we were regularly sliding the IANA considerations back and forth among these drafts (along with the related YANG modules), explicit numbering helped ensure consistency.  Beyond that, I agree with Mahesh.
