Is there a kernel (build) flag that handles the FPU?
As we all know there are FP examples in RTAI and RTLinux. I have used the
RTAI code and ported it to RTLinux and I see the same effect under RTAI
1.1, 1.3 and RTLinux 2.2 ... it appears that my FPU does not work.
In this, I am assuming that the numbers reported from the fp/rt_process
task should be the same (except for the reality check number on the RHS).
They are not no matter how many times I toggle the 'f' key.
The only thing I can think of right now is either my FPU is broken or
the kernel was compiled in some way with a dodgy flag (I think MATH_EMULATION
was enabled). Anyone else seen this? And is there a way I can test the FPU
independently?
