I'm currently preparing such a course... The main task for the moment is to
get some set-ups working. Then, I'll need lots of documentation, at the
level of Masters students: what is real time? how do RTL, RTAI, ecos and
RTEMS implement real time? How does comedi implement real time device
drivers? What are device drivers? What is the difference between ix86, PPC,
DSP, etc.? Why isn't there a linux version for DSPs? ...
I plan to have a website about all these things. Let's keep in touch :-)
Maybe other people have already such things available?
I hope much of the documentation questions I mentioned above will be
answered by the upcoming Real Time Linux book from O'Reilly... Does someone
know exactly what the scope and contents of that book will be?
