[rtl] Installing RT Linux

I'm trying to install RT V2.2 with the prepatched kernel and I'm having some problems. I've been following the most recent installation guide. When I use make menuconfig, it gives me Error 2, stating that curses.h doesn't exist, so I just used make config instead. When I use make dep, it gives me Error 1, stating that mman.h doesn't exist. I've downloaded the tar file twice already, so I don't see how I could be missing those files. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
