Hello mamas ,

I thing you had first installed linux and than Windows .So the
window has been overwritten the MBR where the LILO was installed. So you
have to load lilo in the MBR . For that please go through the following
steps :
1 > Boot in your pc in the Window

2> put Redhat CD in the CD Drive

3> in the CD you will find a directory "dosutils" . In "dosutils" there is
a one application "loadlin" using which you can load linux . Copy "loadlin
in your harddisk .

4>Run "loadlin" using c:\>loadlin /dev/hda1
                        or
                        c:\>loadlin /dev/hdax
x=the root partition of the linux

5> after booting your pc in linux run $lilo
        which will overwrite your MBR.

6> reboot your PC

 LILO prompt .
