[rtl] kernel patch

Hi,
For which kernel version  kernel_patch-2.4  at rtlinux-3.0 suitable ?

I do sucess to do patch with rtlinux-3.1pre3/kernel_patch-2.4.4 
but fail at rtlinux/kernel_patch-2.4  both 2.4.0 and 2.4.4 why ?
