Thanks to everyone for the Ethernet infomation. FYI - the socket that the
Linux is connected to is on a Windows 98 machine, which I am supposedly
closing correctly. I will get a chance to try the suggestions and read and
I'll let everyone know what I've found. It may be a month from now, but
eventually I'll get to it.
