Setting the clockmode to periodic (of any period value) works fine on two systems here, but when calling that line on a Geode small footprint PC the PC starts acting funny. If I hit backspace at a linux prompt the beep never stops. If I try and remove my modules, I get a bunch of "timed out on pthread_wait_delete" error messages. If I try and reboot with the modules running it hangs. If I try to mount a disk the system hangs and corrupts my mtab file. Any idea what's going on? Is there any way to get around this issue?
