We worked with Georgia State University to develop a RTLinux driver for the
Cyclades Cyclom-Ye multiport serial card. The card's architecture is quite
different from that of the PC's built-in ports, but I think this driver
will satisfy your desire to access the ports from either Linux processes
or RTLinux modules.
The board is available from Cyclades, www.cyclades.com, and the driver is
