The problem we have is, that we use ext3 on our emebeded systems on one hand
and on the other hand we have quite some new hardware on the development
systems, and yes we use adaptec scsi cards. And there is the main problem
with <2.4.7 because you neither have a stable aic7xxx nor a ext3 patch. I
personally would be very happy to have a patch against 2.4.9 or the upcoming
2.4.10. Personally I am not too much intereste in a patch against the AC
kernels, because development happens to quick there ...
