I have just completed an instillation of RedHat 6.2, Rtlinux 3.1 with a
fresh kernel 2.4.4 downloaded from the instructed site.

When making the rtlinux I received the following warning several times. I
also got the same warning when compiling my own code.

make: ***Warning: clock skew detected. your build may be incomplete

Does any one know what could be causing this?
should I be concerned about it?
Is it because I am running RedHat 6.2 and not 7.2?

could the reason be that I missed a step out when installing rtlinux. I
followed the instructions that were bundled with rtl3.1. I was expecting to
see more steps under point 10. Having configured rtl, I run "make dep" and
the followed point 10. Should I have also ran "make bzImage"

10. Compile RTLinux
     make
     make devices

I am running the above on a Intel PIII 700Mhz PC104p by Digital Logic

Thanks to anyone who will help
