        Upon further browsing of the source, it is now obvious to me that I
missed the obvious and that Mr. Kavaler was correct with regards to the
rtf_put failing if insufficient space exists in the FIFO.  That is both the
documented and actual behavior.  I sincerely hope I have not caused anyone
any difficulty with my misinformation.
