Hi,
I don't know if someone mentioned already this problem but in
rtlinux-3.1/main/i386/arch.h :
the line
struct irq_control_s irq_control;
should be repalced with
extern struct irq_control_s irq_control;
So the rtl-module can also be remove smoothly
