Hello Phil,
I am using your notes for installing rtl (beta10).
Machine is dual pentium/233.
Linux-kernel-2.2.10-SMP compiles and works (under RedHat-5.2)
Tried beta10, patched kernel compiles and machine boots correctly.
I had to change `cpp' to /lib/cpp in /usr/src/rtl/misc/updateconfig
for make to work correctly (step 20).
At module insertion test (step 21):
# insmod rtl_time.o
stuck on TLB IPI wait (CPU#0)
# insmod rtl_sched.o
stuck on TLB IPI wait (CPU#0)
^^^ system hangs..
`insmod' without rtl componentin kernel does work correctly though.
Any ideas?
