Hi everbody!
The following information might be not absolutly concerning
rt-linux as we know it, but anyway:
Surely, some of you can recall an article about the real-time
control of a full flight simulator printed in the Linux-Journal some
months ago ...
The Engineers as at CAE-Electronics (CA) ported their real-time scheduler
from AIX to Linux (thus to make porting of the rest (sounds/graphics/motion)
easier).
The Senior Developer will have a lecture (in english language) about the whole
thing at the "systems" (a trade fair in germany) on October, 21st.
That is to show the business-people that you can realy do big
stuff (and business) with linux.
For those of you, who are interessted, may have a look at this URL
for further information:
http://www.linux-magazin.de/systems/en/Presentations.html
(all lectures (audio/video) will be streamed into the internet)
BTW.: CAE will very likly port their stuff to rt-linux ...
Bernhard
