Hello everyone,

I have installed Rtl Beta11 in my computer. For your info I use Red Hat
Linux 6.0 and my kernel has been upgraded to version 2.2.10. I installed
beta11 by patching it to my 2.2.10 kernel. I followed the installation
manual in file README. In kernel configuration, I installed the hard real
time option. Then I followed by 'make dep', 'make bzImage' ....
Then as usual I installed the lilo. I though there was no problem when I
installed the kernel. Then I reboot the computer and I though my linux has
a new real time kernel.
After that I go to folder beta11/rtl and do 'make all', 'make install' to
install the module (rtl_fifo, rtl_time, rt_sched). Then I tried to test
the example program in folder examples. I tried the sound program. I do
'make' and 'make test' as written in file README. But when I do 'make
test' The computer is freezed. And I have to reboot the computer because
the computer didn't give any responses. I tried another example programs
and every time I do 'make test' the computer is died. Why this is
happen? And I discovered that every time I do 'insmod rt_sched' the
computer is died (or freeze). Does anybody know why if I do 'insmod
rt_sched' the computer is freezed. And what I have to do so I can install
Real Time Linux, because I'm in hurry. Does anybody can help me to solve
this problem?

P.S. Sorry, my english isn't good

Any help would be appreciated

Iman
