Am I going blind, from beta16:
/*
* RT-FIFO devices
*
* Written by Michael Barabanov
* Copyright (C) VJY Associates LLC, 1996-1999
* Released under the terms of the GNU Library General Public License

*/
My point is that this code was taken largely from fs/pipe.c which was
copyrighted by Linux Torvalds. You cannot remove someone else's
copyright. You may add your own if you add significantly. This
mechanism is meant to prevent one releasing code under another license
without the consent of the other copyright holder.
BTW, why is the copyright for RTL not held by NMT ???
