I noted a nice example (interrupt driven) driver in the current issue of
the Linux Journal. I can't find my paper copy right now, but i would not
be surprised if their code is online on the website. It looked quite
useful, also for RTL purposes (i think it's a trivial modification to the
code to port it to RTL land, although you then may want to buffer the data
through a RT-FIFO)
