Hi, I'm kind of new to RTLinux, but I have succesfully installed it on a
RedHat 6.0 based distribution.
It is not really a RH6.0 but it is derived from it (almost the same but
with encryption support). The one that I used is LinuxPPP 6.0 and its
available thru www.pepe.net.
The steps that I followed where the standard ones, but first I removed the
original Linux kernel from my HD with GNORPM.
Then I untarred the RTLinux and inside it I untarred the 2.2.13 kernel,
obviously under the Linux directory.
Then I applied the patch, did a make mrproper, make xconfig, ..., made the
modules, and everything needed to boot with the new kernel and modules.
Finally I go to RTLinux and I made the examples. Almost every example
worked just fine, except for the audio one becouse I had my own sound
module inserted. I think I found some other example that did not work but
I don't remember which one.
Drop me a mail if I can help you.
