Don't panic, old version of linux recognize only the first 64MB of
memory if more.
If it is the case, you just have to add in the lilo command line:
mem=256M
and normally linux should stat at the next boot 256MB.

If it is the case, I suggest you to upgrade your system.
Or perhaps is it a Bios pb that indicate only 64MB if more 
( register limitation of some bios)...
but the mem=256M override the automatic test of ammount memory.
