I have a minor update/correction. The RTL alpha switch code is broken, but
the core, timer, fifo's and posixio all work on alpha.
The PPC core is broken so it's entirely unusable in this snapshot.
} ftp://ftp.fsmlabs.com/pub/rtlinux/v3/rtl3.snap.041900.tgz contains
} another RTL 3.0 snapshot that should fix this problem.
} PPC and Alpha are still broken.

} This release supports SMP and UP on x86, and seems stable with both.
} The kernel for the patch is 2.3.99-pre6-3
