We are attempting to run RTLinux on a couple motherboards that do not use the Intel 440BX chipset, but instead have only "legacy" ISA support in the chipset. We can't get the sound example to execute on an AMD K6 motherboard with the ALi PCI to ISA Bridge M1533, Host Bridge M1541, PCI Bridge M5243 identifiers in the /proc/pci output. This MB hangs waiting for an interrupt to be generated by the fifo when the linux.au file is cat'ed to /dev/rtf3. The second MB is a Cyrix GMx and CS5530. On this system after rtl_time and rtl_sched are insmod'ed, the Linux system date stops updating (it runs at about 1/120) of real-time. Any help on identifing the problems would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
