Hello there,
Are there any step by step examples or howto's out there to bootstrap
the beginner?
Something like what's available for RTAI at
http://www.aero.polimi.it/projects/rtai/ would be great. Are rtlinux and
RTAI programs compatible? The documentation at www.rtlinux.org is I think
incomplete. Also where are the sources for the examples that come with
rtlinux? (I know under gnu the sources should be there somewhere, I just
can't find them!)
I'm using minirtl booting from a floppy into RAM disk on an i386 with an
ne2000 network card and 10MB of RAM. Hats off to Nicholas McGuire. It's
pretty cool talking to the old machine over the web. Whoever would have
thought there was a useful role for it again outside of as a footrest or cat
litter?
Best Regards,
Brian

P.S. For those of you who subscribe to that kind of thing, have a happy
Easter!
