I try for a couple of days to run examples given with RTcom 0.5.1 and 0.5.3
without any result can anyone help me ??
I got Rtlinux V2.0 and kernel 2.2.13 from prepatched version downloaded on
rtlinux site
my distribution is Mandrake 7.0. I tried with succes (transmit and receive
both serial ports
with minicom on my machine (serial chip is 16550a).
Here is my priblems:
with RTcom0.5.1: I need to do setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none on both serial
port (I got
"Device ou resource busy ???). I install rt_com module then testcom module
supposed to read and then
to write "Test\n" every 100ms, but nothing good appears on the other side
(strange char with
I guess some parity problems ? ...). I know by some diagnostics (with
rtl_printf) that data are
written correctly in the buffer (rtl_com_write) and the ISR send all char I
want (good char are put
outside in outb(....). I know also my terminal setup is good
(speed,parity,...) I suspect something
wrong with serial chip setup but my RT_COM_TABLE is good ???
with RTcom0.5.3 nothing is transmitted (visually) on the serial line (this
time I don't need to use setserial).
If I try to install module hello_world.o system says "Device ou resource
busy" ??.
Any clues ??
