I have just installed rtlinux on a fresh 2.2.14 kernel (Redhat 6.2)
I had two problems,
(1) the network could not be located, I resolved this by compiling
support for my network card (3com 905B) into the kernel.
(2) Soundcard not located. it seems that rtlinux does not compile
soundcard
modules. I have an es1371 based card, which is detected fine under
conventional linux, but soundcore.o and es1371.o do not seem to be
in the /libs/modules/misc directory as I would have expected. They do
not install at boot and sndconfig wont locate them.
How do I enable soundcard support under RTLinux??
